Share Good Times not Flu… In School has been reviewed and endorsed by the Personal Social and Health Education Association (PSHE) and is supported by the School and Public Health Nurse Association (SAPHNA)

Overview

In 2013 the Government announced that children should be vaccinated against flu as part of the NHS childhood vaccination programme. This is being rolled out across the UK in stages.

The Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) support the view to consolidate roll out into primary schools first, and then evaluate the programme, before considering the potential gradual impact of vaccinating older children. 1
