Protecting your friends, neighbours and community

Well, flu spreads from infected people, and children are very good at catching and spreading flu – they catch it at school or nursery and bring it home, or they catch it at home and pass it on to other kids. 6,7

This means that when you vaccinate your child against flu you not only help protect them, you help protect your whole family, and others in your community because you make it hard for flu to spread.
